Presidents’ Circle

“Always choose influence rather than power. It helps change people into people who can change the world.” ― Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks

As the president of a synagogue or other Jewish nonprofit organization, you face situations that you may never have imagined. The Presidents’ Circle creates a unique opportunity for you and your fellow presidents to learn together, share experiences, build bridges and develop creative solutions to address common issues facing our community. The intimate group size and setting encourages trust and respect and fosters collaboration across our Greater Hartford Jewish community.

As a member of the Presidents’ Circle, you’ll play an active role in setting the agenda so your organization’s unique needs are addressed. A facilitator will be present at all meetings to help you and your peers maximize the value of your time together and transform talk into action.

The Presidents’ Circle is more than just networking; it is an investment in your lifelong learning process, your congregation or organization, and our community. Together with other presidents and JLA staff, you will craft a leadership development program that will benefit you personally and professionally beyond your tenure as president.

The Presidents’ Circle is open to all current presidents of synagogues and other local Jewish nonprofits.
